Making the shift from perfectionism to the pursuit of excellence

I had the opportunity to co-present for CLEBC on the topic of dealing with perfectionism with Derek LaCroix, QC, Executive Director of the Lawyers Insurance Program of BC. Derek and I enjoyed working together and so are going to offer another on-line presentation on this topic for CLEBC in November. This time we are going to focus on providing more in the way of actionable tips for the viewers.

To give you a taste for what we will be talking about here is a link to an article that I wrote for Slaw.ca this month.

Bottom line is that I encourage all perfectionists out there to choose to make the shift away from perfectionism and towards excellence. Often it takes support, and some focused and consistent effort, but the good news is, it is a truly achievable goal.
