Surviving the Marathon of a Busy Legal Practice

While most of us may never run the Boston marathon, a lot of us are running marathons of our own kind keeping a frenetic pace going at work that would exhaust any athlete. We have a tendency to downplay the energy required to sustain intellectual work. Eventually we begin to falter and burnout sets in. Symptoms can include a dramatic drop in motivation, increased procrastination, diminished productivity and a variety of health issues.
